There’s something special about quaint little cottages and shacks, I am constantly drawn to shooting them. I think it’s a side of us that just wants to kick back on the verandah and enjoy the simplicity of life, leaving all the hustle and bustle behind. This scene was picture perfect, right down to the primitive stone chimney. Amazing fall colours surrounded the cottage and I walked around the whole scene to feel right with this angle. There was a great ambience about the day, and when I took the shot I felt the mood of the day. A breeze came down the valley filled with smells of the fall. It was a special place to me.
