As far and often as I travel, returning to Antelope Canyon is always special to me. Regardless of the time of year, if you have patience and know where to look, there is always something remarkable to capture in the narrow slot canyons. I worried that as the day dawned, too much light would keep me from using a longer shutter speed to illuminate the depths of the canyon. Luckily, late in the morning a strong westerly picked up scattering sand from the canyon above. Drifting down from the gap, the sand defined the rays of sunlight. While the day only produced ten minutes of prime shooting, I managed to get a series of exposures to share with the world.
