Fraser Island is a very special place to me; just sand tracks for roads, remote beaches, and amazing virgin rainforests. I’d been back to this section of Wangoolba creek a few times and loved the location; crystal clear waters towered by gorgeous palms. After a torrential downpour on the island, the rain finally subsided and I was drawn to the creek. I grabbed my gear out of the car and started hiking into the wilderness when I noticed the gods’ rays shining through the trees. Riveted, I frantically set up my tripod and shot 2 rolls. Minutes later, the sun went in and the magic disappeared. It was a special moment I’ll never forget.
