In the arid surrounds of Standley Chasm stands this lone ghost gum. Clinging tenuously to its perch, it juts out of the side of a narrow gorge at an amazing angle. Sandwiched between the rocks, I precariously set up my tripod at root level, and shooting from an extremely low vantage was able to give this shot the radical perspective I wanted.
