This beautiful waterfall spills out of its rainforest hiding place falling in delicate sheets to the pool below. At over 50 feet high, it was an awesome sight - seemingly with no beginning or end. I had explored the location on the previous day and the falls were just a trickle, but after a fairly heavy overnight rainfall at the top of the volcano, I knew it would be worth a return trip. Still overcast from the preceding storms, the conditions were perfect to enhance the wonderfully saturated colours of the rainforest. I framed the path of the falls as it traversed the lush damp vegetation, and the flowers provided an unexpected splash of colour.
