I camped out on the shores of Lake Superior and set the alarm for sunrise. I packed my gear up and headed to the lake under twilight skies. Fresh snow decorated the trees and I felt right in this location, just waiting for the sun to break the horizon. Incredible cloud patterns formed overhead and I took a series of shots. The morning had a great mood to it, and although the arctic temperatures were insane I had a blast capturing the colours of a new day.
