I have made a career out of capturing the beauty of nature, usually only in the form of strict landscapes. Occasionally, I will be able to capture animals in such a scenic setting that I am compelled to set up and shoot. These beautiful horses were taking shelter from the winds coming in from behind them. This classic shack set in the middle of the Grand Tetons did the trick. There is a certain peacefulness and simplicity out in the mountains. It eases the mind and lets you relax to enjoy the sounds of nothing but the wind and the snowfall.
