I love the challenge of capturing the true feeling of a place. The rolling hills and gentle presence of outback South Australia really spoke to me. I searched for days for the classic hut in the perfect location. Setting up my tripod right amongst the heads of the wheat fields I felt the golden warmth of the sun as it rose over the horizon. I had a two minute window in which to shoot four frames. It felt amazing, surrounded by glowing meadows and total silence. This really was a true feeling of the spirit of Australia.
