These forest giants are just incredible. I’ll never forget the first time I visited the Redwoods. I stood in awe as I turned my neck backwards and looked up at these monoliths touching the sky. Wintertime was my choice for this scene. The morning felt special. I put on all my winter gear and hiked through the squeaky fresh snow watching the days first rays backlight the giants. This was the scene I wanted, the trees just glowed red and fresh snow transformed the forest into a winter wonderland. I’ll never forget being here by myself, at one with nature, total silence only broken by falling snow off the branches.
