There’s something special about camping in the desert. As I searched for a perfect dune, the wind picked up and I felt the land speak to me. I carefully positioned my tripod along the razor back of the dune and waited for the sun’s first rays to enhance the shadows and patterns of the sand. As the sun rose over the dunes it seemed to lure the clouds towards the dune summit. The light show over the dunes lasted only a few minutes leaving me the opportunity to shoot just one roll of film (4 shots).
