I traveled to Colorado specifically to capture a special dimension of Mother Nature; the first snow. I arrived on location at sunrise, but decided to hold out for the perfect lighting while I enjoyed the beautiful morning. As the mountain shadows receded, I watched autumn reveal itself and a magical reflection on the lake surface appear. It was a perfect day. The air was calm and silent, filled with sweet anticipation. Everything felt so right, I pressed the shutter and knew I had the quintessential shot of autumn in the Rockies!
