Hui Aloha Church, situated on Maui is a popular venue for local weddings and it’s easy to see why. It is such a romantic place, and its classic tropical location with windswept cliffs and fathomless indigo waters is straight out of a fairy-tale. Far out to sea the trade winds buffet the white caps, and closer to shore breakers crash dramatically onto the black volcanic rock. My perspective from the steep cliffs opposite provided a perfect vantage to capture the gentle curve of the bay, and the tiny traditional church settled on its remote island outcrop.
