Never before have I seen such a vision of harmony – where mankind and Mother Nature complement each other with such grace. When I looked upon this amazing scene, I saw a structural wonder powerfully jutting out from the green, lush mountainside and stretching into the endless distance. The Great Wall seamlessly curves along the elevated ridges, almost as if it’s following an outline provided by the earth itself. Up above, the ominous clouds appear to have circled just over the stone guard post – forming a perfect window to the cosmos. Far away, the mountains were glowing with a bluish hue, while tiny rays of sun pierced the sky and highlighted the textured landscape. No doubt this called for a wide field of view – only a panoramic would do this setting justice. This was it. Mother Nature had given me the perfect moment to capture one of mankind’s greatest feats. Just imagine, this amazing landmark extends over 5,000 miles, thats twice the size of America from coast to coast.
