I named this image even before I took it. At that time of the morning, on a chilly but still day on the banks of the Noosa River, I felt completely and utterly at peace. I watched–transfixed as always by the power and beauty of every new sunrise–as the horizon coloured up to a blushing pink and the night sky gradually transformed into the deep blue of dawn. The lonely dinghy adds a human element to this image otherwise completely created by the awesome hand of nature.
