I am constantly seeking patterns in nature. It draws you in and makes you think. Traditionally I shoot landscapes. This was a huge landmark for me, to capture the heart and soul of one of the most beautiful animals, the zebra. The challenge was intense. I shot thousands of frames, out in the open, on the run, but selected this image for my galleries. It was the look that I was chasing – to relate through the lens.
