Blue Mountains National Park, Australia
The section of this waterfall was perfect – so many different falls within the main waterfall itself. The sound of the waterfall echoed through the forest and a fresh scent filled the air. I had to capture this beauty on film and struggled with the constant spray saturating me and the lens. I had a 15 minute window of soft light with overcast skies and just had to go for it. I only managed to grab four shots with a time exposure. My camera was soaking and with water droplets running down the side, and I knew, as usual, I had to push things to the limit. A one second exposure gave this shot the feel of a painting.
