In the late 90’s I was commissioned by Queensland Tourism to shoot Queensland. In my travels, I searched for the perfect island and Lady Musgrave Island was it — turquoise water and stunning reefs. Camping on the island was amazing, but to get the right perspective I had to jump in a rubber duckie and framed the shot. I had a week of disgusting weather, and knew as I awoke this was the day. Puffy white clouds and calm water, the smell in the air was all with me when I pressed the shutter.
