The obvious way to shoot these magnificent falls was vertically to include the imposing drop, but I’m always looking to explore a different angle of view. I decided to isolate the very bottom of the cascade and use a long exposure to create an unusual misty effect with the water. The overcast light filtering through the forest canopy gave the image a beautiful saturation, and I love the unique atmosphere of tranquillity captured in this scene.
