Due to the weather variations in the Tasmania highlands I had to rise early for this lavender image. Using a tripod I set up the shot to accentuate the tunneling rows of lavender lit in the morning light. The tree to the left of the frame provides an extra element in the composition re-enforcing the crisp atmosphere of the southern hemisphere’s largest lavender field.
