The Big Island of Hawaii is one of my favorite spots on Earth—so diverse, so powerful, so remote, yet so intimate. I shoot from the heart—the way I feel that day. As I returned from shooting a remote beach, I crossed a stream and noticed a splash of color reflecting off the water’s edge. Beautiful clouds intertwined overhead to complete the perfect romantic scene. Scenes like this stay with me forever.
