This would have to be one of the most beautiful places on earth — a true coral island on the fringes of The Great Barrier Reef. I’ll never forget the sight of this extraordinary island from the air, framed by a perfect reef. As my floatplane skimmed across the surface of the turquoise lagoon, I imagined the shot. A slight breeze nudging at my back, I set up on some exposed coral. With low tide revealing the magic and colour of my surrounds, I set the island in my viewfinder and captured this amazing essay in perfection.
