Waiting for that perfect window in time was tense. I needed soft, overcast light, and the most difficult of all, total calm conditions – without the movement of a single leaf. After an early morning start, and five separate pilgrimages that day alone, the atmosphere I hoped for finally presented itself to me. I shot 27 frames to get the focus, exposure and panorama just right. It felt like an eternity, but the result was breathtaking! Being present during such a moment of Zen, while observing total beauty in nature is the kind of moment I live for. I was in total awe looking into this scene, rather than at it. I am proud to share my experience witnessing this blessed moment in nature.
