My goal is to capture a mood, a feeling, a presence of a day. To do this I have to feel right about where I choose to shoot. I saw an evening storm approaching and knew I had to be right amongst the fields–becoming part of the scene myself. I had just discovered this monumental barn, which screamed out to be captured on film. I quickly set up my camera in the wheat fields and took a series of shots. I was stoked with the results! The grandeur of the barn, with the white peeling paint was epic.
