The sunrise off the coast of Maui is truly a sight to see. However, there was something extra special about this scene that still rocks my soul when I think about it. I woke up earlier than normal and arrived at my location in pitch black, only to become more and more excited with every passing second. As the daylight slowly broke through, I watched in awe as the sky transformed and exploded with amazing color. The orange and pink hues of the morning clouds cast a glow over the landscape, highlighting the vibrant forestry below and the quiet shimmering waters that gently washed up on the beach.
Suddenly, as the morning silence set in, an incredible feeling came over me – it was the amazing presence of Mother Nature. No question. There was no time to waste, and I snapped this frame before the moment passed. I will always remember the peaceful aura I experienced on this beautiful morning, as I captured the true spirit of Maui.
