The simplicity of this thatched shack perched on the rocks right on the ocean gives this shot a special focal point. I relaxed under there, and listened to the sound of the ocean, watching this magical sunset. I knew this shot would be majestic but waited for days for the right light. Sunny blue skies just didn’t provide the mood I was chasing. Eventually, five days later, a weather change rolled in. I took a series of shots right on sunset, but as the sun set, the light improved. A long exposure gives the shot a dreamy feel, soaking up all the colors and textures of the ocean.
